True. Belgium, or for that matter any other country, does not need fascists or racists. And yet, they are there. And they are waving White Power-flags. The above mentioned groups are much more than merely “separatists”, and anyone who bothers looking will notice. Unless they’re fascist apologists.

This makes no sense. Belgium is a white country. It has basically zero non-white people in it. It does not need a “white power movement” and the symbol in question is not a “white power” symbol. It is a Flemish separatist symbol, for a Flemish separatist party. The Walloons, the Flemish opponent, are white people themselves.

A more productive use of your time might be “Eurocommunism.info”. Virtually all of the ruling parties in Europe today have former, and not so former, communsts serving in them.

No need to engage in any three-degrees-of-seperation nonsense to smoke them out.

PS:

You have to know that De Morgen is our left-wing paper. Currently, the entire left-wing (socialists, greens, communists) represents only 19% of the vote in Flanders. You really can’t accuse the Flemish population of being that retarded to follow left-wing ideas. So, nobody in Flanders cares about Yves Desmet or his paper all together.

Coming a bit late to the party, admittedly, but still:

And the explanation about “franse ratten” not being a racist slur against french-speakers is actually amusing, since Matthias Storme is quoting Franz Vanhecke, who deplores the slogan for its racist/chauvinist content: “Ja, natürlich. Französische Ratten raus!» ist ein über vierzig Jahre alter Schmähruf. Es ist kein vornehmer Ausdruck, und wir als Partei brauchen diesen Slogan bestimt nicht’”

Franz Vanhecke would know, wouldn’t he, whether it is supposed to be a “Schmähruf” or only a quote from an important old song. After all, he did some Walloon-baiting himself as a young member of the VMO, so he must have had ample opportunity to shout these words himself. If anyone would know the purpose of these words in demonstrations in areas with many French-speakers, Franz Vanhecke would. If Vanhecke says it’s a “Schmähruf”, a Schmähruf it is.

There's a lot of confusion and misinformation regarding the Muslims in Europe, which is quite natural I suppose, since the question seems so urgent. For instance, I think Mark Steyn's demographic argument is pure speculation contradicted by the few facts we can establish about the trends. I agree 100 % with your point 5, Öyvind.
